About Bitwize

Calm, capable AI that takes your side.

Every tool we build answers to the person using it and to nobody else. Sometimes that means the work never leaves your device — that's Logue. Sometimes it means giving you representation so you aren't the only party at the table without any — that's Aria. Same principle, two different jobs.

What we believe

Four principles. Everything else follows.

Private by default

We ask for the least a product needs to work. Privacy isn't a setting you toggle — it's decided before the first line of code.

Local where it can be

Logue does all its work on your device — your documents, tasks and meetings never leave it. Where a job genuinely needs a network, like agreeing a price with another person, we say so plainly.

Advocates for you

Our tools serve the person using them — never a neutral middle, never someone else's agenda.

Calm by design

Quiet, uniform, and free of dark patterns. Software that stays out of your way and respects your attention.

Why we build

Tools that respect the people who use them.

We started building because we wanted AI that treated people as the point, not the product. That conviction grew out of our on-device work — first with ChatBro and then Logue, where we learned that private, local AI isn't a compromise. It's simply better software.

Aria came out of a company one of us built before Bitwize: an AI paint-visualization product, sold to a Benjamin Moore reseller in the Toronto area. Delivering it meant months in front of painters, contractors and their customers, and hiring for home work was visibly broken on both sides. Tradespeople lost jobs they never even heard about. Homeowners had no way to tell who was good, who was available, or who was honest about price.

Aria applies the same belief to that problem. Hiring local help means dealing with a market where you're the only one without representation — no time to compare, no idea what a fair price is. Aria is your side of that table: it settles the price before the work starts and holds your money until you've approved the job. The people doing the work get looked after too, because a deal only holds when both sides can live with it.

Telling Aria a fridge stopped cooling overnight, and Aria asking the few things it needs to know

Let's build something you can trust.

Whether you have a question, an idea, or just want to see what we're working on, we'd love to hear from you.
